Here we are on our last day. I think everyone is ready to get home. It has been fun, but it is just time to be on our way.

Sad sad day...
Well, the good news is that it's not broken. But all my ligaments are torn across/around my foot.

We survived!
It has been a couple of days, but just wanted everyone to know we were all doing okay!
The ride went smooth & pretty quick considering we stopped a few times.
It is hot here, just like at home...with no rain.
I have been crocheting a little less than usual, but I still have managed to work up a few things.

No Granny today
I did not get around to the next Granny Square in the book today, sorry. I did however fiddle around with a few different squares & some color combinations. I just can't decide if I should go bright colors or if I should do a toned down project this time. I need a "square" project, because I think they are easier to travel with, and I will be MIA from the blogger world for a week. Anyhow, if anyone drops in & has a suggestion, just let me know...which square or what colors??? Or both :)

Granny Square of the day # 18
Day # 18 is the Tri-Colored Clusters. I really like the looks of this one. It looks a bit Celtic to me. It's funny because it says "Experienced" at the top & I just didn't believe it looking at the picture. Ha Ha...joke was on inexperienced me...It was a bit challenging figuring it out for sure. But I think it turned out alright all the same.

My deepest apologies ;)
I was so politely informed by my mother that I was not living up to the title of my blog. I have fallen addicted to crochet & that is all I have posted recently. She loyally checks everyday & I know she is looking for pictures of her grandkids. Sorry, mom...here are some new ones to chew on for awhile :)
We tried, that is Stella's head, bottom right corner :) |

African Flower pattern via craftpassion.com |
Blooming Flower Cushion by Lucy @ Attic24 xoxo |
The African flowers are being hooked in the Tahki Cotton Classic yarn with a 3.50mm US E/4 hook.
And the Blooming Flower I am using a cotton/nylon blend I purchased recently online. They compared it to Borraco Weekender. I really really like it. It does split a little easy so you have to watch your hook, but the stitch definition & the feel of it is sublime!
Oh yeah, I am using a 4.00mm US G/6 hook for this one.
