Ruby's Slippers

I just tried my hand at crocheting some baby booties/slippers. In fact I made some ruby slippers for Ruby!!
I still need to attach the straps & I am gonna put a few decorative buttons on there too.
(I used a pattern from e-PatternsCentral.com, designed by Carolyn Christmas, "Mary Janes". Thank you so much for making it available!)

Love, Love, Love

African Flower pattern via craftpassion.com

Blooming Flower Cushion by Lucy @ Attic24 xoxo
These are two of my four projects I have going at one time! These make me smile & I just love the yarns I am working with on both! Needless to say, they are my favorite projects so far as well!
The African flowers are being hooked in the Tahki Cotton Classic yarn with a 3.50mm US E/4 hook.
And the Blooming Flower I am using a cotton/nylon blend I purchased recently online. They compared it to Borraco Weekender. I really really like it. It does split a little easy so you have to watch your hook, but the stitch definition & the feel of it is sublime!
Oh yeah, I am using a 4.00mm US G/6 hook for this one.

Granny Square of the day # 13

Day # 13 brings the Cluster Cross Square!

I thought I might mention this, now that I have been posting one of these things a day for almost two weeks...I am using Tahki Cotton Classic yarn & a US G6 crochet hook (4.00mm).

Drum roll please....Ta Dah!!!!!

It is finished, it is finally complete!
Of course I still need to weave in the ends & clean up the back.
I am so thrilled how it turned out!
160 lovely granny squares all together at last!

Not quite "Ta dah"...

Everything is together. Lots & lots of ends to weave in, I will definitely learn how to attach as I go along for next time.
It also needs a border, but that shouldn't take too long.

Almost out of white yarn...

Had to run out to get some more white border yarn...I hope this is the last time.
The rest of the multi, then yellow & then pink. A grand total of 160 granny squares! I do love to crochet!
